I am Bryan Baker, and I publish a zine called GAJOOB which started in 1986. I’ve reviewed thousands of DiY albums in the zine and later online (and still do).
For a few years I took the music I was writing about in the zine to the local community radio station, KRCL, where I hosted a weekly show called Cassette Culture Shock.
I’m revisiting that now through the lens of 40 years forward.
The format will be a combination blog and podcast.
